The Foundlings are a series of sleeping infant sculptures. They are swaddled in bead embroidered fabrics and places in "cradles" of their themed habitats.
The idea for these pieces came from studying the artifacts of lost civilizations - mummies and dolls that had once been loved and revered but whose stories we will never fully know.
